Windows XP ke Ubuntu 10.04 melalui VNC tidak menyegarkan

Saya sudah mencoba tightvncserver dan vnc4server di Ubuntu. Saya sudah mencoba tightvnc viewer dan ultravnc viewer pada Windows XP. Saya dapat terhubung dari Windows ke Ubuntu dengan kombinasi apa pun, tetapi tidak ada penyegaran layar: Saya dapat menyeret jendela di Ubuntu menggunakan mouse saya di Windows atau mengetik ke terminal di Ubuntu dari keyboard saya di Windows, tetapi gambar tidak berubah pada Windows. Saya dapat meminta pembaruan layar dari Windows tetapi layar tidak memperbarui.

Saya menjalankan driver ATI di Ubuntu. Saya sudah mencoba melangkah System | Preferences | Appearance | Visual Effects turun dari Extra ke Normal tanpa efek.

Terharu System|Preferences|Appearance|Visual Effects dari Normal semua jalan ke None. VNC bekerja.

Sebagai alternatif untuk sepenuhnya menonaktifkan efek desktop, Anda juga dapat mencoba (pada host jarak jauh yang Anda coba lihat melalui vnc) menjalankan "gconf-editor", dan buka / desktop / gnome / remote_access dan aktifkan "disable_xdamage"

Saya telah mencoba berbagai cara tanpa hasil, tetapi saya menemukan solusinya ketika saya memperbaiki masalah lain:

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.bak

Jika file tidak ada:

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
